Sandra Cole Burke - Simply Serendipity

Sandra Cole Burke was born in Montreal. She graduated from Ecole des Beaux Arts de Montreal with a major in printmaking and in 1973, received a Diploma in Education specializing in art from McGill University. She worked in the printmaking studio of Janine Leroux-Guillaume in the 70’s and was an Art Teacher at the Mackay Centre in Montreal from 1973 – 1981.
In 1985, Sandra moved to Stouffville, and is a member of the Lemonville Group of Artists, the Roadside Painters and the Stouffville Studio Tour.
Sandra’s inspiration comes from nature. She enjoys the spontaneity of watercolours and mixed media. At the present time, Sandra is focusing on original wood block prints.
